Project Three: Technology Assignment- HAO JINGYU，LI YULUN

 Most of the courses for the two of us are the same, so we chose May 29, 2023 (Monday) for the simulation of project three.

Conditions: Living without a smartphone, without a computer (including an iPad)

Analysis:

Compared with the 19th century, our life has many differences, mainly due to the progress and development of technology.


1. Communication devices: Modern technology allows us to communicate in a faster and more convenient way. We have mobile phones, email, social media and instant messengers to keep in touch with people all over the world.

2. Internet: The popularity of the Internet makes it easy and fast to obtain information. We can access vast knowledge and information resources through search engines, learn new skills, explore different cultures and get the latest news.

3. Mode of transportation: The development of modern means of transportation enables us to travel faster and more conveniently. We have transportation means such as automobiles, high-speed rail, and airplanes that can reach our destinations quickly, expanding our range of activities.

4. Medical Technology: Advances in modern medical technology have greatly improved our healthcare. Now there are more advanced medical equipment, more effective drugs and treatments, so that many diseases can be better controlled and treated.

We can certainly survive without these modern technologies, but our lives will be greatly affected. Modern technology has become an important part of our daily life, permeating almost every aspect. They have changed the way we work, socialize, learn and play.

Difficulties we would encounter without these technologies:

1. Lack of access to information: Without the Internet, we would lose the convenience of accessing a wide range of information through computers and mobile phones. We won't be able to easily browse news, learning resources, academic research, and other intellectual content. It may take more time and effort to get specific information, such as finding books, reading newspapers, or consulting experts.

2. Lack of learning tools: there are many learning apps and tools on mobile phones, such as reminders, memos, study plans, etc. Not having a phone may mean you don't have access to these tools to manage your learning progress and tasks at all times.

3. Transportation and travel inconveniences: Without modern means of transportation and navigation systems, long distance travel would be more difficult and time-consuming. The reason why modern society develops so fast is the convenience of transportation.

4. Decreased productivity: Modern technology makes work and production processes more efficient and automated. Without computers, software and automation, we would have to go back to manual and traditional ways of working. Without electronic books, we would have great difficulty in finding books.

5. Inconvenient Transportation: Modern means of transportation such as cars, trains and planes make it possible for people to travel quickly and efficiently. Without these technologies, we would have to rely on slower modes of transportation, and traveling long distances would be difficult and time-consuming.

6. Limited communication: Modern communication technologies such as cell phones, the Internet and E-mail enable people to communicate with each other quickly and in real time. Without these technologies, we would have to rely on traditional mail and face- to-face communication, which could lead to delays and inconveniences in the delivery of information.

7. Declining Quality of Life: Science and technology have improved the quality of our lives in many ways. Without these technologies, we will have to rely on traditional methods to complete these tasks, which require more time and effort.

8. Deterioration of medical conditions: modern medical technology plays a vital role in diagnosing and treating diseases. Without modern medical technology, we would not be able to enjoy many important medical services, such as MRI scans, surgical techniques and the development of new drugs. This will lead to deterioration of medical conditions and mortality due to disease. The above is a joint project of Yulun Li and JingYu Hao.

Our group's park has stray cats, flower beds and some trees, and there are fitness equipment to provide exercise services and so on.  We also have playground equipment for children to play, and chairs to rest and walk.  There is also a fountain pool for viewing and you can throw coins into it to make a wish.  There is also a sink for children to wash their hands and a toilet.  There is a convenience store outside the park, which is very convenient.
